Commission on African American Affairs to Hold Meeting at Eastern

Willimantic, Conn. – On Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 6-8 p.m., the Connecticut African-American Affairs Commission will hold its monthly meeting at Eastern Connecticut State University in the Paul E. Johnson Sr. Community Conference Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library in Willimantic. The public is invited to attend.

The mission of the African American Affairs Commission (AAAC) is to improve and promote the economic development, education, health and political wellbeing of the African American community in Connecticut. The AAAC accomplishes these goals through information sharing, promoting cultural awareness, community networking and legislation.
