Vanderman Place is hosting the “Picture Your Best Summer” photo contest because we believe that–in every person there is an artist. We want to give ordinary people a chance to showcase their talents with something that is accessible to everyone–a camera or smartphone! Everyone will get a chance to submit 5 pictures, which describe without words, what summer means to them. The winning pictures will be enlarged and displayed throughout Vanderman Place for everyone to admire all summer and then winning photographers will be recognized and given the option to keep their finished work of art. We want to engage the community, inspire the artist in all of us, and have fun doing it! Please contact Janice Benedict for more information at 860-450-7060. Deadline is Friday July 5th.
