ADVOCACY
Our Chamber works collaboratively with other chambers in CT including the statewide business organization CBIA to influence state legislators to make laws that help businesses grow and profit instead of preventing growth or making it difficult and expensive to own and operate a business in CT. We testify at hearings, write letter of support or submit important and informative testimony that shows the effect of possible legislation on small businesses.
PROMOTION
Every member receives a marketing package with their membership. This package includes the following advertising: a half hour radio interview on WILI 1400, facebook live interviews with our partners
T-Mobile, member "feature" in our e-newsletter, on our social media platforms and in our weekly Chronicle page, premium website listing with links to your website. We get your company name out in front of thousands of people.
MEMBER DISCOUNTS
Our Chamber has a unique program that extends membership to your employees. You can provide your staff with an "Employee Benefit Program" card where they are eligible for discounts at local businesses. This is a great way to show your appreciation for your most valuable assets while supporting the local economy and fellow Chamber members.
NETWORKING
CAN Morning Networking
Every month on the third Tuesday we meet at 8:00 AM to get to know one another, exchange leads, make referrals and give testimonials. This group is serious about growing their business and making connections. We meet at the Chamber Office and always have a hot pot of joe!
After Hours
Become a host for an After Hours networking event. The only cost to you is providing the food and beverages. A great way to show off your company and network with members.

We understand how hard it is to be in business, especially in this economy, so we are always on the lookout for ways to help our members save money in their day to day operations. We are partnering with Eversource Energy and Energize CT to find ways to save you money, keep your work environment more comfortable and protect our environment. LUNCH & LEARN
We offer in person and virtual professional development programs on a variety of topics. If you would like to host a lunch and learn event and have an expert speaker, please partner with us in setting up a lunch and learn program. Join our exceptional speaker's bureau and be a leader while promoting your business.
NEWS
The Chamber prides itself on its award winning weekly
e-newsletter that informs business owners of the latest laws, regulations, opportunities, grants and events. Our newsletter goes out to over 4000 subscribers and is a great way to advertise and inform people of your business accomplishments or news. We received an award from the New England Patriots for the news we shared during the pandemic that kept businesses on top of changing circumstances and opportunities for assistance.
TOURISM
The Chamber is a founding member of the Partnership for the Arts, Culture, History and Tourism for the Greater Windham area. We have brought together tourism businesses to help promote the region and bring in more visitors. The arts, cultural programs and outstanding eateries from a diverse group of local restaurants make coming to our community an interesting, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
RIBBON CUTTINGS &
OPEN HOUSES
Have something exciting happening at your business? Change your location, hire a new critical employee? Host an open house or ribbon cutting ceremony and invite Chamber members to your business. We help promote the event, invite town and state officials, notify the press and can provide those REALLY big scissors and ribbon.
