Atwood Dementia Group was founded in 2017 and specializes in consulting, counseling and coaching people living with dementia, their care partners and the providers who support them. Pamela Atwood has 35 years of experience in dementia care. Her passion is rooted in her family's history of people having Alzheimer's and related causes of dementia. She is a gerontologist and a psychotherapist. In addition to counseling clients and coaching families facing dementia, she facilitates support groups and volunteers with nonprofit organizations like the Alzheimer's Association and the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
